SPI Ventures is a new company created by Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, S.A. (SPI). The mission of SPI Ventures is to act as a catalyst for business creation and development by identifying and selecting emerging opportunities and accelerating them towards the creation of new businesses.

SPI Ventures offers a high value combination of services as it brings environmental scanning and business intelligence together with business planning and business creation. SPI Ventures is different from most companies as it has a pro-active business model, not being conditioned by specific initial customer demands.

Based on its wide network of partners and experienced Advisory Board, SPI Ventures is in a privileged position to identify market trends and new technologies that can lead to new business ideas.

Start Me Up 2012
StartMeUp is a NOVA Entrepreneurship Society initiative which intends to provide five projects/startups the chance to be presented before a panel of potential investors.
This initiative is open to the public, including Early Stage and Late Stage projects.
